Perry Dealy

Mr. Dealy has over 37 years of executive management experience in the development arena. Over those years, he has amassed a valuable network of long-term business and community leaders by whom he is well regarded, thus enabling him to make inroads where others cannot. With hands-on experience in all aspects of real estate development including being a licensed architect, general contractor, and fiduciary representative, Mr. Dealy brings a broad set of skills that have been crucial to his success in strategic planning, acquisitions and development. Since founding Dealy Development, Inc. in 1992, Mr. Dealy has been primarily responsible for project pre-development, entitlement phase, and overall project implementation and completion. Recently completed projects include the expansion of the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego and the development of The Grand Del Mar resort, clubhouse, and Luxury Villa components. In addition, he continues the pre-development of Manchester Pacific Gateway on San Diego's downtown waterfront. Dealy Development Inc. has held development contracts for the following major projects: San Diego Convention Center Expansion, San Diego International Airport Master Plan, Rancho Bernardo Corporate Center, Centerside Office Complex in Mission Valley, CA, Wells Fargo Plaza in downtown San Diego, Century Centre Office in Irvine, CA, and Qualcomm Stadium expansion in San Diego.

Mr. Dealy is active in the community, serving as a Red Coat for the Holiday/Poinsettia Bowl, Lambda Alpha International, Lincoln Club, the San Diego Port Tenants Association (SDPTA), and the Downtown San Diego Partnership. Mr. Dealy holds a Master of Architecture degree with an emphasis in Urban Planning/Design from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Environmental Design in Architecture from North Carolina State University.

Ms. Whetton joins DDI with a background in hotel management. After a successful career as a Food & Beverage Director for Wyndham Hotels, she transitioned into corporate hotel management. As an Executive Assistant to the President of a successful hospitality and real estate management company, she gained invaluable experience in a myriad of responsibilities and multi-project management. Enjoying the challenge & varied nature of the position, Ms. Whetton is pleased to continue as Executive Assistant for Perry Dealy at Dealy Development Inc. Ms. Whetton wears many hats at DDI including those of Office Manager, Meeting Planner, AP/AR, and all-around go-to person.

Ms. Whetton is a magna cum laude graduate of California State Polytechnic University Pomona with a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management and a Minor in Business Administration. She is also a commissioned Notary Public.
